Now, every time I open the app, it hangs and closes itself.

It doesnt work anymore. Whats happening?

I love this it has helped me a lot, especially because it gives Chinese pronunciation as well! But I also am studying cantonese so if you could make a cantonese section thatd be nice, thank you! Xiè xiè arigatou m4 goi1

Excellent for studying japanese kanji. Its similar to "i mi wa" app..Good

learned at least 7 kanji today :D

I like that it include hiragana and katakana :3 But perhaps add an option for making study lists and stroke order quizzes in the next update?

The fact that the kanji are split into levels of difficulty is fantastic, as is the fact that there are the readings, meanings, and example words for each kanji. I thought it was also really cool that there are Chinese and Korean readings, too. What really got me, though, was the ability to hide the kanji with the stroke order from your screen, write the kanji on your own, and then bring the apps kanji back onto the screen, allowing you to check for sloppiness as well as quiz yourself. Two thumbs up!

On and kun readings with every kanji. Practice touch screen writing. Must know kana before you use it though. No romaji which is good.

The only thing I would like to be fixed is the window sliding when I try and draw a stroke from the left to the right. It can get annoying, but the usefulness of the app makes up for it. Thanks so much for this its great to use to study with!

I am a big fan of this app, and as I am teaching myself Japanese, Im finding this to be a more and more helpful tool. Its simple, and it seems to have just about everything that I need.

program is buggy (iPod 4, iOS 1.6.3 & iPhone 4S, iOS 7) close itself

This app is just so easy to use and does the job perfectly. I am using other resources to learn the kanji and printing trace sheets and all that, but before I try them, I always look up the stroke order with this app. The search function works excellent with the japanese keyboard.

I dont understand what sound each character makes. It isnt clearly stated, but overall it has a great variety of kanji and does show stroke order. This can be a useful tool, but needs to clearly state what sound each character makes. Maybe by adding a

Great for learning and practicing correct stroke order. Would be better if a blank screen for testing oneself were available. Would be amazing if the example vocabulary listed on the side had definitions. Would be the best app ever if one could not only learn the definitions of the vocabulary examples, but practice and learn writing them too.

For some reason, it stopped working. It closes when I open it now, and its never done that before. Pls fix.

This app is amazing!!! It gives an easy to follow, numbered stroke order animation of each kanji. You can practice tracing your finger over it OR hide the animation, practice tracing on a blank screen, then bring the animation back to see how well yours looks in comparison! "On" and "kun" readings are given, plus translations in English, Chinese, and Korean. All kanji are divided into N5-N1 levels PLUS theres kana stroke order for hiragana and katakana writing practice, too! AND you can even *search* for a kanji by typing it in or copy and paste. I dont know of any other app that does all of these things. Plus its all free...AMAZING!!!!!
